Coming to belfast

The ScaleUp Institute with the London Stock Exchange and the Northern Ireland Ecosystem, alongside our key partners, are hosting a ScaleUp event on the 15th May 2025 at Ormeau Baths, 18 Ormeau Avenue, Belfast, BT2 8HS.

This will be open to all scaling businesses from across all sectors in Northern Ireland, as well as ecosystem players supporting these businesses.

The event will delve into the funding landscape and options to raise capital in 2025 and beyond; providing insights on new initiatives to tap into private capital and access a broader and deeper investor pool, including institutional capital in an easier, simpler way whilst remaining private, while you grow.

It will be a great opportunity to hear about the various funding and scaleup support initiatives in train, which will be beneficial for you and your scaling businesses in Northern Ireland to learn more about, with excellent opportunities to network with peers.

The programme will include expert insights from:

  • Dame Julia Hoggett, CEO, London Stock Exchange on the latest developments in capital markets; listing rules, the new market launch for PISCES - the Private Securities Market - and the platform FLOWW for early-stage companies. Both can help scaleup businesses to access a broader community of investors in a more seamless efficient manner and open up liquidity.

  • Expert advice from British Business Bank, Innovate UK, and leading local funders who will discuss the latest updates and opportunities.

So whether you are a scaling business or an ecosystem leader supporting scaleup firms, do join us at the ScaleUp Northern Ireland Summit to:

  • Connect to money and experts and get the latest insights in finance developments.

  • Network with your peers and share your experience.
